Zu sehen ist der große Gesellschaftsanzug eines Majors der Zivilverteidigung aus dem Zeitraum 1978 - 1989. Die Uniform ist aus Kammgarn in einem hellen Grau gefertigt und entspricht damit dem für diese Zeit typischen Erscheinungsbild der Zivilverteidigung.

Charakteristisch sind die malinofarbenen Effekte in der Ausführung für Offiziere.

An der Jacke sind befestigt:

• Verdienstmedaille der NVA in Bronze
• Verdienstmedaille der ZV in Bronze
• 15 Jahre Treue Dienste NVA (gold)
• 10 Jahre Treue Dienste NVA (silber)

On display is the large formal suit of a Major of the Zivilverteidigung from the period 1978–1989. The uniform is made of Kammgarn in light gray, reflecting the typical appearance of the Zivilverteidigung during this period.

Characteristic are the malino-colored details in the officer’s version.
