Zu sehen ist eine Dienstuniform eines Majors des Luftschutzes aus dem Jahr 1962. Die Uniform ist aus hochwertigem Kammgarn in Khaki-Farbe gefertigt und entspricht damit dem für diese Zeit typischen Erscheinungsbild des Luftschutzes.

Charakteristisch sind die malinofarbenen Effekte in der Ausführung für Offiziere und die sogenannten "Knochen" (Kragenspiegel) welche die Offiziere von 1958 - 1965 an den Uniformen trugen. Die schulterstucke sind ein Paar bestehend aus 2 Linken Schulterstücken, es wurde teilweise so getragen dient aber in dem Fall als Platzhalter bis ein richtiges Paar gefunden wird.

Der Hersteller ist VEB Elegant Berlin, die Uniform ist in der Größe 98 am 19.10.1962 gefertigt wurden und kostete damals 24,47 DM (Ost). Die Uniform ist eine privat beschaffte Jacke. Die Uniformjacke ist mit Knöpfen mit einem Durchmesser von 20 mm ausgestattet.

Shown is a service uniform of a major of the Luftschutz from the year 1962. The uniform is made of high-quality Kammgarn in khaki color and corresponds to the typical appearance of the Luftschutz during this period.

Characteristic are the malino-colored insignia in the officer’s version and the so-called “bones” (collar patches), which were worn by officers on their uniforms from 1958 to 1965. The shoulder boards are a mismatched pair consisting of two left shoulder boards; this was occasionally worn that way, but in this case they serve as placeholders until a correct pair is found.

The manufacturer is VEB Elegant Berlin. The uniform was produced in size 98 on 19 October 1962 and originally cost 24.47 East German Marks (DM Ost). The tunic is a privately purchased piece. The uniform jacket is fitted with buttons with a diameter of 20 mm.
